The Vanquish is a rare sight on Britain's roads, made at a rate of 200-300 per year between 2001 and 2007, this aluminium and carbon-fibre bodied supercar is also the last Aston Martin model to be hand-made at the factory in Newport Pagnell. This is why it holds such a special special place in the hearts of Aston aficionados the world over. The last of the great, hand-built Aston Martins and a showcase for British craftsmanship at it's best.

It's quick too, with a 0-60 of 4.5 seconds and 191 MPH top speed, "Four tugs on the left-hand paddle and gearbox leapt seamlessly from a loping sixth to a screaming second. Throttles wide open, it sat back, gathered itself and speared forward." It demands your attention, this is not a car that you can expect to "drive itself", it wants to be "driven", and those fortunate enough to get behind the wheel are in for a very rewarding experience indeed.
