The cost initially to you would be that of getting the car to our showroom, if the car doesn’t sell you would also have the cost of collecting the car. If you require us to insure the car on our policy then and a charge of £5.00 per thousand of value per anum would apply.

It is almost impossible to work to a
fixed commission rate with this type of vehicle, The buying process can be very
protracted and involve a lot of negotiation over unusual elements such as work
needed on the car, shipping to another part of the world etc.
We
will agree a sum that we will try to return to you from the sale based on a
reasonable asking price, one that allows room for negotiation over warranty,
servicing, MOT etc.

Whilst the car is in our possession, fully it can either remain on your own policy or be insured by us for £5.00 per thousand of value per anum..This charge would be applied quarterly with a minimum charge of one quarter.

It’s very easy for us to arrange
transportation for you using our specialist classic car shipping company. The
company has a very high reputation for care and attention and only uses covered
transportation. The following prices are typical examples, the final price will
depend on a number of contributing factors but this should give you a good
idea:

Before a sale can go ahead, we will seek your written
approval. Once that is obtained, we will take care of all the paperwork. Only
when you are totally satisfied will the car be released to the buyer.

We shall endeavor to make settlement no later than 7
days from the completion of the sale.

Yes, until the car is sold you will remain as the registered keeper.

We will always make you an offer for your car; this will be based on the condition of the car and the trade value. This will not be as much as you can expect to retain if we sell the car on your behalf.

From the sale we have to cover the usual overheads associated with a business of this size plus the marketing, advertising and ‘preparation for sale’ of your car. We normally try to cover the cost of servicing & MOT to secure a sale but in some instances flexibility may be required from both parties.

We will cover the cost of transporting the car to our workshop but the cost of repair would be borne by you. Minor faults will be repaired free of charge as a matter of course.
The car can be 'sworn off road' while it is with us so that it no longer needs an MOT certificate.
Once a car is sold, we will usually service & MOT it prior to delivery and cover the cost from our fees.
We wouldn't service or MOT the car otherwise unless you requested it and paid for the work.
Sometimes the cost of getting the car through an MOT can be prohibitive and in this instance we would expect to share the cost with you in order to continue with the sale. Obviously we can't spend £10,000 pounds on an MOT if we are only making £3,000 from the sale. Common sense really.

Either we, or the buyer, would pay for any such modifications.
In some instances we might suggest modifications that could make the car more desirable to a potential buyer, but this would be your decision and any work paid for by you.

Simple answer is no; It could sell the day after it arrives or it could take a year, we just don't know, but it's best to allow at least 6 months in planning. General rule: If you want a quick sale you have to be prepared to accept less for the car.

No problem, but we would expect at least 6 months to try and achieve a sale. The only charges you would pay are those outlined elsewhere. i.e. work you have authorised & transportation to and from our showroom.

If the car is sold from our premises we will of course charge our usual fees.

This shouldn’t be necessary as we have very successful advertising campaigns in place.
We also expect to have exclusive rights to the sale, therefore you are free to advertise it, but not through another dealer.

No, the actual sale price will depend on inspection and discussion with you, but we can usually give a good estimate over the phone.
