Congratulations to Bob Fountain, the owner of Aston Workshop and his co-driver Joseph de Georgi on successfully completing the Peking Paris Challenge in their 1934 Lagonda M45 Sedanca de Ville. They finished in 14th position, awarded a Silver medal, and in the process beating many seasoned rally competitors. The Lagonda was prepared in record time, yet never missed a beat. In all a fantastic achievement by all concerned.

To complement the completion of our Lagonda’s restoration and to commemorate its successful completion of the Peking Paris Challenge, we have produced a very limited edition book of the highest quality. It briefly covers the history of Lagonda, the fascinating history of this car to the present day, an illustrated record of its restoration and then an illustrated account of its adventures on the Peking Paris Challenge, 2007. It will be lavishly illustrated with wonderful quality images, both contemporary and historical. Each book will be bound in the highest quality leather with gold leaf lettering and will be produced complete with its own slip cover. The first edition has a very limited private distribution, but if there is interest by collectors and enthusiasts for a copy of this book and the demand is reasonable, we may produce a second edition for limited public distribution.
