The Aston Workshop is offering all Aston Martin owners a copy of their stylish 2008 calendar when they send proof that they own an Aston Martin to the Workshop.

The 2008 calendar has been produced by The Aston Workshop and features a range of images from the Aston Art collection [www.astonart.com] The atmospheric photographs have been taken by award-winning local photographer Tim Wallace of Ambient Life Photography and aim to capture the style and beauty of the Aston Martin using natural lighting.

The idea for the calendar developed when Tim Wallace and Bob Fountain created Aston Art to produce a range of high quality prints to showcase the style of Aston Martin cars. Bob and Tim realised that the look of the photographs would make for a beautiful calendar similar to the style of the legendary Pirelli calendars.

Tim said: “I’m really pleased with the calendar as it’s incredibly stylish and I feel that the pictures have worked really well. Aston Martin cars are great subjects for photography using natural light as they have fantastic form and shape. The calendar really showcases the beauty of the cars from the older DB1 to the modern Vantage.

Bob Fountain, owner of the Aston Workshop, said: “I think the calendar really captures the Aston Martin style. Our Aston Martin’s are restored by traditional craftsmen using time-honoured techniques and the calendar works in the same way as the prints by showing the care and attention that we lavish on the cars. We are really excited about adding another product to our range and I think that the calendars will make a great stylish gift for someone who appreciates the unique beauty of Aston Martins.”

The calendar is retailing at £11.99 and can be purchased from www.astonart.com.
Alternatively, if you send proof of ownership of an Aston Martin (e.g. a photo of yourself with the car or a photocopy of your details in the log book) to clive@aston.co.uk, the Aston Workshop will send a copy of the calendar to you absolutely free!
