Our state of the art paint and body centre is the perfect place for restoring any age of Aston Martin to the highest specification and is well equipped to deal with all kinds of crash repairs. The 20,000 square feet facility has the latest technology and equipment and we use traditional methods and time-honoured techniques to restore the cars in our care with the utmost attention to detail.

The business has grown steadily through word of mouth and the workshop now spans 35,000 square feet making it one of the largest facilities in the world for restoring and reselling Aston Martins. We have one of the largest show rooms of new and used Aston Martins in the North East with around 60 models on display.

The addition of the Paint and Body Centre last year means that we now have greater capacity to undertake any job from a simple health check and service to a full restoration or crash-repair for all models from pre-war to DB7 Vantage.

In the event of an accident, it is important to ensure that the company tasked with repairing your car are capable, equipped and conversant with Aston Martins and will know how to return it to the state that you expect - as it was in its original pristine condition. It is also important that realise that a badly repaired Aston Martin will suffer a major reduction in value which is clearly something we would wish to avoid.

The Aston Workshop is fully equipped to deal with crash repairs and our skilled and experienced people have the knowledge and experience that comes with having completed many major Aston Martin restorations to the highest standards. There is no accident damage that we cannot repair, no matter how major.

We can accurately determine what has to be done to fully restore your car to as it used to be, and we have the experience and knowledge that enables us to negotiate successfully with your insurance company or, in the case of a no fault accident, the third parties insurance company on your behalf.

With crash repairs or general restorations we use a range of state of the art equipment including two Globaljigs, the only body repair jigs capable of restoring an Aston Martin to the standards required, which enable our engineers to work with newer models as well as older classics.

We also have two Category A preparation booths which allow staff to work on both chassis and body at the same time preventing cross contamination of materials used. After all bodywork is complete the cars are prepared and painted by highly skilled paint sprayers in the latest Junair Spraybooth equipped with centre floor mounted lift and quad drying system.

The quad system operates with four anti-static bars that allow de-ionising to take place before painting which eliminates dust and dirt from been attracted to the vehicle while undergoing the painting process and the quad blowing system dries the waterborne and environmentally friendly paints used.

To achieve a high standard of paint finish we use both PPG and Du-Pont paint systems followed by our own polishing techniques and our digital paint matching and mixing system also allows us to achieve a superior finish using the latest paint techniques to ensure optimum restoration of cars.

None of these facilities have any value without the skills to put them to work. Since launching the paint and body centre, we have attracted an extremely talented and skilled team of panel beators, fabricators and painters. Ably led by Geoff Smith, our paint and body centre manager who has nearly 45 years experience n the trade, the team are all dedicated to delivering the highest standards of workmanship. The team we have, combined with our facilities and equipments are your guarantee of our ability to deliver.
