British Ambassador in Rome visits Aston Workshop

We had a very memorable day here at Aston Workshop on Tuesday, with a visit from the British Ambassador in Rome, Edward Chaplin.

The Ambassador was in the region to give companies an insight into doing business with our European cousins.

We are planning a promotional trip to Italy next summer and when we heard that the Ambassador was going to be in the region, we were only too pleased to invite him along to see for himself the extent and quality of the facilities we have here and to find out more about the work we do.

The Ambassador commented:
“It’s marvelous to see that there is still such a demand for one of Britain’s greatest cars and the staff at Aston Workshop’s are doing an amazing job in transforming what are often little more than rusting skeletons into wonderful road-going works of art”

At the end of his visit, the Ambassador was given framed print featuring the stunning photography of Tim Wallace.

All in all, a very pleasant time was had by all and afterwards, the ambassador was treated to a fantastic lunch at the wonderful ‘Black Horse’ pub and restaurant just next door.
