Aston Workshop have a world wide reputation for restoring and selling the finest Aston Martins. We are based in the beautiful Beamish countryside only 15 minutes from Newcastle town centre. The working environment is second to none in our 27,000sq ft workshop and sales facility.

  Paint & Body Centre Manager Mike Shield mike.shield@aston.co.uk
  An experienced Body & Paint Centre Manager is required for a recently established, extremely well equipped modern Paint and Body Centre, a part of a highly prestigious and high growth business that is established in open countryside close to Tyneside; with its excellent communication and road links. The business deals in the sale, service and restoration of classic and very high quality prestige cars and the standards of workmanship and finish required are of the highest quality.

As the person in charge of the Paint and Body Centre, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the work of the Paint and Body Centre, ensuring that the Centre delivers consistent growth in revenue and profit.

The person we are looking for will have gained a deep knowledge of all aspects of panel beating, body and chassis fabrication, reconstruction and painting of classic cars. Ability to motivate, coach, recruit and organise a small team of dedicated craftsmen to achieve the highest standards of workmanship and to ensure that the work is undertaken in a safe and healthy environment is critical.

An up to date and deep knowledge of current technology and methods in vehicle repair and refinishing is extremely important and as is working closely with suppliers to ensure that every opportunity is taken to use modern methods to improve general productivity and higher quality.

Responsible personally to the Assistant General Manager and Proprietor, you will be comfortable working with Senior Management to ensure that the work of the Paint and Body Centre is well integrated with the other aspects of the Business. An ability to maintain excellent customer relations will be as critical as will your ability to deliver consistent growth in the business. A proven ability to work closely with the Insurance industry and their representatives is a must.

Salary and Employment Terms and Conditions are negotiable but will be highly attractive for the right candidate.
