This is a fantastically detailed recreation of a DB4 GT finished in Aston Martin Racing colours. Converted in 1995 from a standard DB4 chassis to a GT short wheelbase, the car has been re-fitted exactly as a DB4 GT including glass side windows, doorframes, window regulators, genuine front seats, instruments, Borranni wire wheels with new Borranni spinners, correct 35 gallon fuel tank, leather luggage straps, full roll cage…the list is endless! The engine has very recently been rebuilt to 4.2 litre specification (will require running in for 500 miles) and has un-leaded capability. Triple 48 Webbers are fitted with the addition of a steel crankshaft, lightweight pistons, forged-conrods, polished cylinder head, larger valves, modified camshafts and branched exhaust system. The whole unit has been balanced and blueprinted. The car has been set up to compete in road rallies, hill-climbs and circuit races such as the AMOC Championship and has been constantly modified to remain competitive. All work has been carried out in meticulous detail; other modifications are just too numerous to list. The car has a large history file documenting the conversion and other work, bills, MOT’s etc. A rare opportunity.
