Silverstone GP Circuit Track Day 20 March 2017 A very good customer of Aston Workshop Ron Powell asked us to build a 12 plug “GT” head for his DBR2 Evocation. This was to be a winter project. Work was completed early this year and a track day booked for March at the famous Silverstone GP circuit. Ron and his good friend Craig … were to be the drivers … The morning session began with a damp track which ultimately led to some interesting action! A dry afternoon brought faster lap times, though no one was timing! and boat loads of fun! The engine pulled like a 'steam train' and was really smooth right through the rev range. The car was easy to drive, docile when needed and could get up and go when required. 100mph plus was described by Ron as 'nothing short of glorious!!!' Continue reading...

Goodwood 01 October 2013 2013 included Aston Worksop's second year as exhibitors at the fantastic Goodwood Revival, and despite the soggy conditions an excellent weekend was had by all. This year the event witnessed a new world record price for an Alfa Romeo sold at auction. The car in question, an ex-Scuderia Ferrari Alfa Romeo 8C-35 Grand Prix car, selling for a cool £5,937,500. Fit for a King 21 June 2013 We proudly present a truly stunning one-off Aston Martin DB2/4 Vignale – 1954. The car was built for King Baudouin of Belgium, he was approximately 25 years old when he ordered the Vignale bodied Aston. Its Official - it’s the end of the V12! 03 May 2013 Its official - the production of the V12 Vantage has been stopped by Aston Martin. On Friday 19th April an official announcement was made to all the dealers that no more orders for the V12 Vantage (the Coupe) were being accepted. Introduced in 2009 the V12 Vantage was originally planned to be limited to 1,000 units. Just dropping in to show off the new Vanquish 23 January 2013 As the world's media assembled at the base of the Burj Al Arab, the event was underway. Lifted from the ground at a nearby airstrip the helicopter moved towards the hotel. A breathtaking two minutes saw the helicopter hover over the helipad as a crew scrambled to secure the Vanquish. Sneak preview of new Zagato book available now! 31 March 2011 There are two new publications available in our download section. The first is a draft copy of a new book soon to be published by Aston Workshop. Formula 1 success for Aston workshop 17 November 2010 OK, we didn't have any involvement with the winners of this years F1 Championship, but what a fantastic week it’s been for Aston Workshop. Great Goodwood 21 September 2010 Our visit to the Goodwood Revival has been a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by the team. This was the first time Aston Workshop had attended the event and we are already planning a much bigger presence for next year. DB2/4 Smashes Auction Records 17 September 2010 THE RAMPAGING values of Aston Martin DBs took another step towards the stratosphere when David Brown’s former car – in barn find condition – sold for an incredible £206,000 at Barons Auctions. The ‘lost’ 1958 Aston Martin DB2/4 MkIII drophead, originally the property of former Aston Martin owner Brown, spent the past 30 years hidden beneath a tarpaulin.
